Lee Bo-mi – Starring Park Si-eun

He moves to Kungtari to find a natural cure to save his daughter. There is a struggle between those that want to develop the village of Kuntari and those that are against it. In the midst of ugly arguments, he meets Bo Mi, who was deported from the US. He finds out about Bo Mi’s secret, but doesn’t reveal it, worried she might get hurt.

Lee Na-bi – Starring Seo Hye-jin

Born into a rich family, she enjoys a life of luxury. She always acts before speaking regardless of whom she is dealing with. She doesn’t hear or care to listen to others. However, there is one person she does listen to and that is her father. The year her father passed away, she stopped growing mentally. It’s as if she is still a junior in middle school after 20 years. That could be why she started showing interest in Soo Ho. She takes after her father, who always scolded her. When her husband Jang Soo, whom she thought would devote himself to taking care of her his whole life, suddenly expresses his ambitions, she decides to get a divorce to cut him off completely. She mistakes Soo Ho, who came to her office, as a lawyer and moves to Kungtari to hit on him during consultation hours. Soo Ho doesn’t have a kind word for her and is rather mean to her, but she continues chasing after him. She’s never had anyone be so cold toward her.

He has grand dreams of becoming the icon of innovation like Steve Jobs. He uses the media well, manages his appearance and doesn’t miss an opportunity when he sees one. When he gives lectures, he says he comes from a poor family and made it on his own, but in truth, none of it would have been possible if it weren’t for the good faith and sacrifice of a woman.
10 years ago, Bo Mi takes the fall for a car accident Na Bi caused. Jang Soo uses and abandons Bo Mi, whom he was supposed to marry, and gets with Na Bi thinking of her as his golden ticket. He planned to write about Bo Mi in his autobiography later, but she suddenly makes reappearance in his life way too early. Bo Mi, who was deported to Korea because of her criminal record from a decade ago, asks Jang Soo to help her reveal the truth. However, he doesn’t want to get involved with her because of the issue. He does some research to get rid of her, but realizes that Bo Mi is his golden ticket, not Na Bi.

Even when Bo Mi found out Soon Ja isn’t her biological mother, she always snuggled up against her. After going through over 10 IVF procedures, she was happy to hear she was pregnant only to be thrown into despair after finding out it was a misdiagnosis. However, she lies to her husband and mother-in-law, and gives birth to Na Bi. When Na Bi is born, she had to make sure whoever knew her secret keeps quiet. She persuades Mr. Jung, the driver, to take Bo Mi away to someplace she doesn’t know, but within a day, he says he can’t bring himself to do so. Soon Ja goes to Kungtari, where Mr. Jung is hiding, and Bo Mi disappears while they are arguing.
