Noh Dae-ho – Starring Kim Sang-joong
Male, 51 years old, Auditor at Daehan Bank.
Former member of Daehan Bank’s shooting team. He is an Olympic silver medalist in shooting, but when he can no longer participate in the sport because of an injury, he joins Daehan Bank in a special position. People worried he might not be able to carry out his job well, being a former athlete. However, he becomes the best salesman of the year twice, thanks to his perseverance and competitive nature, and is sent to the sales team in the main office. He is later chosen to be part of the assessment team for showing good results in small business loans. However, he is held responsible for bad debts when his father-in-law commits suicide and the Lehman Brothers crisis breaks out, and is sent to a sales team in a rural area. 10 years later, due to his great performance in sales through his close relationship with the locals, he becomes the branch manager of Gongju and is always willing to listen to what his customers have to say, building trust in the locals. He unexpectedly is promoted to the auditor of the main office and ponders upon his role as auditor. He likes old, lame jokes, doesn't show distaste to his rude subordinates when they greet him and always puts people first. |

Han Soo-jin – Starring Chae Si-ra
Female, 46 years old, Director of Daehan Bank.
Being the eldest daughter of a poor family, she provides for a large family. She’s the typical poor girl who made it big. She graduated top of her class from a girls’ commercial high school, joined Daehan Bank as a teller at the age of 19 and spent her early 20s enduring the scorn and contempt of co-workers that have a bachelor’s degree. Kang Sam-do, former branch manager and current president, recognized her for her good work and encouraged her, saying one creates the person he becomes. She starts going to a night university, gets her MBA and makes a great effort to increase her value. She’s a workaholic. She is a strong woman that doesn’t shed blood or tears. Regardless of what people say about her behind her back, she gets her job done and says everything on her mind. She shows good results in every department she works in. She works as the assessment manager, risk management manager, sales management manager and now is the director of Daehan Bank. She respects Kang Sam-do, who isn’t affected by the government’s interference in the financial market, but gets stuck in the middle of politics when she finds out that him and Yook Gwan-sik, the vice-president who helped her become director, are in a power game. |

Kang Sam-do – Starring Yoo Dong-geun
Male, 65 years old, President of Daehan Bank
Started as an entry-level employee and became president. He has moral influence on the employees and is popular for his kind way of speaking and gentle looks. He graduated from Kyunggi High School and studied economics as Seoul National University. He quickly climbed up the ladder of the main office and was appointed an executive in his mid-40s. After serving as vice-president he has been appointed president for 3 consecutive years. Those that are against him make fun of the position, but no one dares to say anything in front of the powerful man. There is a saying that you should attack your enemy through a third party. Although he has many competitors, he doesn’t have any enemies. He often buys lottery tickets at the newspaper stand in front of the bank and enjoys a simple bowl of soup or sujebi for lunch, which makes the bank employees think of him as down-to-earth and frugal. It’s important to him what others think of him. |

Lee Hae-gon – Starring Kim Tae-woo
Male, 52 years old, Vice-president of Daehan Bank
He comes from a family of elites and his father and grandfather were executives of Daehan Bank. He studied in the US and started his career at an American investment bank. He only worked at important posts after joining Daehan Bank and became an executive member without ever working at a branch. He’s a smart guy that likes to show off. He’s been envied by others his whole life, but doesn’t care what others think about him. His goal is to make Daehan a leading bank of Korea and a global investment bank. He is certain that he is the only person that can make this possible. His wife, a former pianist, is with their children that are studying abroad and he lives by himself. There are rumors that he is separated from his wife and that he’s divorced, but he is actually a very family-oriented man and has a good relationship with his wife. He likes being stylish and enjoys creating an upscale lifestyle. |

Seo Bo-geol – Starring An Woo-yeon
Male, 29 years old, 3rd year working at Daehan Bank
The owners of a famous restaurant in Gongju had him at an old age and dote on him. He is smart and was recognized for being so since a young age. He entered one of the top universities in Korea with the second best score. Bo-geol was dreaming of getting away from his parents and becoming successful in a big city. After graduation, he got a job at a securities company in New York, but his mother came to him in tears and he had no choice but to return to Gongju. His plan B was to become an employee at the main office of Daehan Bank, a bank he looked up to. His mom doesn’t hide the fact that she doesn’t think much of Dae-ho, but after being appointed to a post in Seoul, his parents cut off his allowance and seizes his paycheck by suing him for being an undutiful son and demands that he pay them back for raising him. He ends up freeloading at Dae-ho’s place with nowhere else to go. He is immature, but lovable, young and reckless. He ends up making a contribution in shedding light on the corruption of banks as an auditor with Dae-ho. |

Jang Mi-ho – Starring Shin Do-hyun
Female, 27 years old, Secretary of Dae-han Bank’s auditing department
She is attractive, has a well-proportioned body and speaks 4 languages. Her plan was to use her French skills to get a job at a cosmetics company and go on business trips to Paris. However, she doesn’t get the job and joins Daehan Bank as a secretary instead. She’s pretty, fluent in several foreign languages and good with computers, but the executives at the bank have a hard time understanding her straightforward personality, blunt way of speaking and unpredictable thoughts. She gets into an argument with the chief secretary and is sent to the auditing department, also known as the grave of secretaries, and work alone. It’s awkward at first, but she adapts to it and is enjoying her job when she first meets Dae-ho. |
