Synopsis
After failing several job interviews, Ho-won coincidentally hears that she has six months to live. And when everything seemed hopeless, she finally lands on a job. She decides to make the most out of her life and undergoes a transformation into a sassy lady. This show provides vicarious enjoyment to young people who face harsh reality with diminished opportunities. In the show’s workplace, there is a culture clash between the young, brash workers who express their opinions and older workers who are anxious about the next wave of layoffs. At the same time, the show presents open communication and understanding as a means of overcoming these differences.

Eun Ho-won – Starring Go Ah-sung
A contractor for HAULINE Furniture in the marketing department. She worked three jobs to put herself through college but her resume was never good enough for the interviewers. After her 100th job rejection letter, she decided to take her own life by jumping off a bridge but somehow, she was miraculously rescued. At the hospital, she coincidentally overheard that she had only six months left to live due to a terminal disease. When everything seemed hopeless, she receives a notice that she got hired at a furniture company as a contractor. She slowly begins to realize that life is so much better once you live fearlessly.

Seo Woo-jin – Starring Ha Seok-jin
Marketing executive at HAULINE Furniture. He approaches every human interaction as a game of give and take. He cynically believes that people are nice only because they want something in return and act friendly only if there is something to gain from the friendship. As a workaholic, he expounds the MBA principles of high efficiency and high growth and has no compassion towards any employee. After having several negative interactions with Ho-won who aggressively stands up for herself, he finds himself thinking about her a lot because of her melancholy mood akin to someone who is about to die soon.

Seo hyeon – Starring Kim Dong-wook
The second son of HAULINE Furniture chairman Seo Tae-woo and an ER doctor. Due to the inferiority complex he harbors towards his older brother, he has aspirations to be anointed as the next chairman instead of his elder brother by proving that he is a better businessman. As the director of the affiliated hospital to HAULINE Furniture, he takes a special interest in Ho-won who has a terminal disease. He becomes her counselor in addition to being her doctor. He plants Mr. Park in the company to watch over Ho-won and report back to him.

Works as a contractor for HAULINE Furniture. From an early age, his demanding mother put him through an intense academic regiment and despite getting into an elite university where he was a business major, he continued to get private tutoring to maintain a high GPA. He has no independent thinking whatsoever. Under intense pressure from his parents for not being able to land a job, he snapped and decided to take his own life. But he was revived in the nick of time and at the hospital emergency room, after encountering other suicidal patients like him at the ER, his life slowly changes.

Works as a contractor for HAULINE Furniture in the marketing department. He is a hopeless romantic who will single-mindedly pursue a love interest. When he puts his mind to it, he can be a top performer at work. He lavished gifts upon his ex-girlfriend by juggling numerous part-time jobs but He gets heartlessly dumped by her after three years of dating. Through a twist of fate, he joined the company where his ex-girlfriend works but she is a young executive while he is just a contractor.
