Bong Hae-ryeong (Starring Kim So-yeon)

Her husband is a director at Daeseo Group, a large conglomerate, and has a successful career while her mother-in-law is a famous hanbok dress designer. Because Hae-ryeong does not have to deal with any pompous sisters-in-law, people think she has married well. But the reality is different from perception. When his youngest brother got food poisoning, his family could not afford any medical treatment so he ended up dying. Because of this traumatic past, he is a penny-pincher who will keep records of every allowance and change he gives to his kids for snacks.

Bae Sook-nyeo (Starring Won Mi-gyeong)

All mothers are especially good at being patient. So it is natural that Sook-nyeo is very good at tolerating life in general. Especially when it comes to dealing with her husband, Bong Sam-bong who is stubborn and penny-pincher. Sam-bong is fiercely competitive and will even pick a fight with a telephone pole that stands in his way. It falls upon her to apologize for her husband's behavior. But it's not just her husband who makes her life a task. Her no-good son had to have an affair, which puts her in a weak position in dealing with his wife who is now applying pressure on her instead of the other way.

Bong Man-ho (Starring Jang In-seob)

Eldest son of Sam-bong and twins with Hae-ryeong. He was born 5 minutes before her. He was born with a silver spoon and joined his dad's Chinese restaurant as the manager. So he gets to be the boss and give out orders. But he has no clue about the restaurant revenues because his father is in control. He is just a restaurant manager in name. He was doted on by his parents and when he got married, he married an older woman so he was always taken care of and stayed in a state of immaturity. But he feels small whenever he interacts with his dad.
