MBC TV miniseries “Twinkle Twinkle” and “Can You Hear My Heart” draw the most viewers among weekend TV dramas

 

MBC TV miniseries have strong showings, drawing the most viewers.

 

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, “Twinkle Twinkle,” which airs in the 9 o’clock primetime hour, drew 15.5% of all viewers on April 23rd in an episode where tensions between Jung-won (actress Kim Hyun-joo) and Geum-lan (actress Lee Yu-ri) escalated. In the following episode of “Twinkle Twinkle,” 15.9% of all viewers tuned in to watch. After the fortunes of Jung-won and Geum-lan are reversed, the animosity they have towards each other begins to bubble to the surface. In a preview of next week’s episode, Geum-lan tries to join her father’s publishing company by laying claim to a business idea that she stole from Jung-won. But her plans are foiled. Somehow, Jung-won turns the tables around after being framed for stealing Geum-lan’s idea, which is actually hers.

 

In the 10 o’clock primetime hour, the TV miniseries “Can You Hear My Heart” is going from strength to strength as it reached 15.5% of all viewers on April 23rd and did even better the next day by attracting 15.7% of all viewers. The show is more popular in the Seoul metropolitan area, where it drew a record high of 17.3% of all viewers, In the episode aired on April 24th, Jun-ha (actor Nam Gung-min) takes Woo-ri (actress Hwang Jung Eum) to her home and reveals that he’s actually Ma-ru, who ran away from home when he was a child. More viewers have been tuning in to watch “Can You Hear My Heart” since episode 5 when the story revolves around the lives of the characters as young adults.
