Expectations for Road No. 1 rise due to the superb casting of actors So Ji-sub and Kim Ha-neul as lovers
 
The press was invited to the set of the upcoming MBC TV miniseries, Road No. 1 and watched actors So Ji-sub and Kim Ha-neul shoot a romantic scene.

With Road No. 1 set to premiere on June 23, 2010, a promotional photo still of Jang-woo (So Ji-sub) and Soo-yeon (actress Kim Han-neul) was revealed to reporters. The photo depicts a scene where Jang-woo is reunited with Soo-yeon in Busan after enduring a heartbreaking separation due to the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950. The two lovers visit a traditional outdoor market together and have a splendid time. Wearing an army officer's uniform, So Ji-sub cut a dashing figure while Kim Ha-neul looked as graceful and beautiful as ever. They played their parts well in the shoot and appeared like inseparable lovers. The photo still that was revealed on this day conveyed the happiness of the two lovers along with a faint touch of sadness. It also beautifully captured the charm exuded by both So Ji-sub and Kim Ha-neul. In the upcoming "Road No. 1," viewers will get to see how the romantic relationship between Jang-woo and Soo-yeon heats up with wonderful and touching visuals. Another beautiful TV couple is about to be born.

So Ji-sub and Kim Ha-neul worked together on a professional shoot for a fashion brand once before but this TV miniseries will be their first collaboration as actors. However, they have quickly developed a great friendship on the set and have good chemistry during shoots. In the photos they posed together for photographers, they looked relaxed and beamed happily at each other, almost as if they were real lovers and not just pretending to be a couple in love.
