Synopsis

A housewife who put all her hopes on her husband is abandoned by him. Her entire life is shattered to the core. Despite the betrayal of her husband and the subsequent hardships she encounters as a divorcee, she starts a Kimchi business to start anew. A success story of a housewife who overcomes her pain and anguish.

Yoo Ha-eun: Actress Kim Ji-young

She dreamed of becoming a model wife and married Lim Dong-joon. But her husband has an affair with his client, Park Hyun-ji, the heiress to the Taeyang Group, and soon after he divorces Yoo. With Shin Tae-gyung’s help, she starts a Kimchi business, which pits her against Park Hyun-ji who runs the Kimchi food subsidiary. As they have frequent run-ins while competing against each other in the Kimchi business, Hyun-ji discovers a startling family secret.

Shin Tae-gyung: Actor Kim Ho-jin

He is a farmer who grows lettuce. He also started an agriculture cooperative called Haneul Farm due to his parents who taught him the value of farmland. He follows a strict routine in his work life but in relationships, he is a gentle person who is very romantic. He wholeheartedly helps Yoo Ha-eun and her kimchi business when she becomes a single mom after her husband leaves her for another woman.

Park Hyun-ji: Actress Cha Hyun-jung
As sole heiress to the Taeyang Group fortune, she was doted on by her parents. During her divorce, she hired Lim Dong-joon to handle her case. She plotted against Yoo Ha-eun to steal her husband, Lim Dong-joon and succeeds. When she finds herself in competition against Yoo Ha-eun in the Kimchi business, her evil deeds surface and she learns of a family secret that shakes the foundation of her life.

Lim Dong-joon: Actor Won Ki-joon

He was raised by a single mom who toiled every day selling vegetables. To make his mother proud, he studied hard and became a lawyer. Despite his professional achievement, he harbors an inferiority complex and a sense of entitlement. He divorces his wife, Yoo Ha-eun and marries Park Hyun-ji so that he could become the chairman of Taeyang Group one day. But his marriage with Park Hyun-ji sours as he finds her to be very selfish and impulsive. He regrets his decision to leave his wife for her.
